4. Job Description:

Vergas Engineering is looking for a China-based Project & Procurement Coordinator to manage and coordinate the end-to-end procurement and supply process with Chinese manufacturers.

The position will act as our local representative in China, coordinating between Vergas Engineering, Chinese manufacturers, engineers, inspection companies, logistics providers, customs brokers and other parties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate and verify Chinese manufacturers and suppliers.

• Collect and review company registration, export, tax, certificates and other legal documents.

• Support tender, contract and payment-related activities, including L/C documentation.

• Communicate technical requirements, specifications, datasheets and drawings to Chinese manufacturers.

• Review supplier technical documentation and identify deviations from customer requirements.

• Assess factory production capabilities, qualifications, quality systems and previous experience.

• Arrange and coordinate factory inspections, FAT and third-party inspections when required.

• Monitor production progress and ensure compliance with technical and quality requirements.

• Check equipment, packing, marking, quantities, dimensions and readiness before shipment.

• Coordinate factory collection, consolidation, loading, freight forwarding and export customs clearance.

• Control shipping and export documentation, including packing lists, certificates of origin and transport documents.

• Resolve technical, quality, production and logistics issues with suppliers.

• Visit factories and be present during inspections, loading or dispatch when required.

• The role covers the complete process from tender and supplier verification through contract, technical approval, production, inspection, packing, export clearance and shipment.

Requirements:

• Chinese – mandatory

• English – mandatory

• Russian – an advantage

• Experience working with Chinese factories and international supply projects.

• Experience with industrial equipment.

• Understanding of Chinese export procedures and Incoterms.

• Experience with inspection companies and L/C documentation is highly desirable.

• Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Heavy Industry or similar industries is preferred.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Willingness to travel to factories across China.

• Ability to independently solve problems and coordinate suppliers on site.
